		<description>I missed this conversation, but perhaps it is good that I did.  I do not have too much to add except a flurry of words.  We don&#039;t ever seem to have a problem with those. :)

The key here is figuring out what truly is a highlight, or vital doctrinal point, and what is not.  The Trinity was mentioned as something that could be questionably a highlight (or arguably not).  I think the doctrine is important because it relates to our conception of God and our misconceptions of God impact our ability to serve Him.  I can see the other arguments as well, though.

One that gets me is end-times teaching.  I do not see how most end-times doctrine can or should be considered foundational except in as much as it reflects other beliefs.  How does being pre-mil, post-trib, or a preterist have anything to do with the reality of your salvation?</description>
